What is it that people want? Many businesses rack their brains trying to figure this out. Most often time we don’t even know what we really want. More money more time, more freedom? It is clear that while we may want all of these things and more, it is not our main desire. I think what we really want is peace. Peace of mind, the peace of knowing our needs are met and peace of being.

It is my intention to convey to you, 3 simple truths. These truths are not new nor am I the first to write about them. But perhaps I will write them in a way that allows for more understanding to some.

The first is that you must be peaceful in mind.  Your outer environment may be chaotic and in fact, I would generate that it is, if you do not have a peaceful mind. There is no need to forsake all that you hold dear in order to have a peaceful mind. Why go and meditate in a cave for 10 years. How will that benefit anyone now? The answer is that it will not. While it is true that in 10 years your experience would probably is very beneficial to many. Personally, I can think of a whole slew of things that I rather your outer

While is true that in 10 years your experience would probably is very beneficial to many. Personally, I can think of a whole slew of things that I rather do that would be of benefit now. I mean no disrespect to anyone that has or chooses to pursue that endeavor. I thought about it too at first. Then I realized what I really wanted was to be at peace in any situation that I was in. That seemed like a worthwhile goal and it turned out to be a lifelong path.

You can find a little spark of peace in any place that you are in.

Look for:
something to appreciate

Something to be grateful for

Something to value

Does a peaceful mind mean that you let others walk over you or worst? Absolutely not!   It means that you have the ability to stand for what you believe in and that fear has no hold on you.   All fear is, is a mind in confusion and frustration. Peace conquers both!

Every single experience that we have had is a direct result of our mindset!

Chaotic mind = chaotic life

Fearful mind = fearful life

Peaceful mind = peaceful life

Prosperous mind = prosperous life

You change your mind set by changing what you focus on!  Yes, there are countless things in this world that we do not want to experience and there are countless things in this world that we do want to experience. Want more money then look for ways to make more money be of more value. Want a loving relationship, then go out and meet people in an open-minded mindset. How many times have you started a relationship and the boom it seems like everyone wanted you?  You are in the proper mindset for that to be. Want to change the world, then change you. Stopped complaining and winning. Look for a way to help.  But first look to help yourself. You have to be OK with you before anyone else can be.

The only thing that you can control is what you focus on!

Give freely, the more that we give the more we have to share. Giving is not something done once or twice a year.  It is done every day. We give to our families our friends our career and even to strangers every day and they, in turn, give back to us in the exact amount that we give to them.

Did you give that stranger a smile or a frown? Did you give your family your time or excuses? Did you give value?

To sum it up:

1 Peace is all around you
2 Choose your focus
3 Give freely

Be aware of these 3 things and your mind will be at peace!
